...is an improvised cross-over performance. In one hour an ensemble of 4-6 actors
create a fusion between two art forms, bringing poetry and theater closer together.
At the moment of hearing the reading, the imagination and internal pictures that
a poem awakens are taken by the actors as association material:
the associations with words, metaphors, themes and also to rhyme, rhythm
and even the structure of the poem provide sources of inspiration
for the images that the ensemble creates on stage.
These images and moments are part of an association chain that is built
through dialogues,
monologues as well as abstract and concrete situations.
The audience is invited to create their own narrative bridges.
There is a greater transparency between the “told” and the performed,
allowing a playful and humorous approach to poetry to develop.
The puzzling character of some poems and also the clear intention of others
can lead to surprising turns of events at any moment as spontaneous associations
unfold one after the other.
